Changes
It truly does amaze me how a group of people can get together only to watch a friend’s graduation online. Yes, this is the same group of people that have said pretty harsh things behind each other’s backs on a constant basis, and yet they call each other friends, get together for social events, but don’t know a thing about what is really happening in their friends lives(personal/job/hopes/dreams)…pretty strange. I used to call myself their friend, but after getting married I’ve realized that I’d rather spend my time with my husband, or a smaller group of friends in which our conversations and interactions are a lot more meaningful, honest, and lasting than just meeting up to take pictures and post on instagram. I still care about these other friends but I’m just done with the faking.
I guess I’ve done some growing up :)

I need a Vacation!
Can’t help but think how beautiful it would be to visit France in the winter. Some people would disagree, but after living in Florida for 11 years you really start craving a different winter scene besides green palm trees and 68 degree weather!

Our wedding pictures are finally done!!! My photographers were such great people to work with, and they were so understanding and patient! I will always remember my wedding day. The rain ( thanks to a tropical storm), the flowers, everyone running around trying to get everything set up, and some people even telling me not to do the first look since it was raining. I’m so glad I didn’t listen because despite everything else my husband and I needed this one private moment where we cried, talked about everything that was happening. It was THE most reassuring, calm, and best moment ever! Best Photography THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

There is so much sadness in my heart right now. Seeing the beautiful country of my family, Venezuela turn into what it has become today is heart wrenching. I know capriles won. But corruption, greed, and ignorance is what keeps that detestable person in power. I will keep the beautiful memories of all my summer and Christmas vacations close to my heart. But i’ll continue to have faith and believe that one day this will end. ” no hay mal que duré mil años ni cuerpo que lo resista”
